MBCD is a nonprofit charity operating since 2008. You should consult your financial planner or tax adviser to determine the exact tax advantages of any gift you are considering. We provide a receipt for all gifts that can be used to claim a tax deduction. If you have any question please do not hesitate to contact Mary Burgesen, Treasurer at the business address listed below..
Bylaws were developed during the incorporation phase of MBCD and amended in the years after the date of incorporation. Bylaws are the rules that govern the internal management of MBCD. They are written by the organization's founders and board and cover, at minimum, topics such as how the board of directors are elected, how meetings of MBCD are conducted, and what officers the organization will have and their duties. Bylaws and the Articles of Incorporation, are the primary official documents of MBCD. The particular requirements for bylaws are set by the State of Missouri in which the MBCD incorporates. You may obtain the copy of proposed bylaws (to be voted in 2015) by clicking here.
